Leon Halfmann has been working as a research fellow at ZNU since October 2019 and is mainly involved in the realization of the project "ZNU goes Zero". After his bachelor's degree in Ecotrophology at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Leon Halfmann completed the English-language master's degree in Environmental and Resource Economics at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. There he gained knowledge in statistics as well as the analysis and calculation of environmental and fiscal instruments in the field of energy. Leon Halfmann completed internships at Stromnetz Berlin and at Stakeholder Reporting, a sustainability consultancy in Hamburg, which gave him insights into the energy industry, especially the latest developments in metrology, as well as practical knowledge of climate data balances and analysis.
